  • December 5,2009- Director of Photography, senior Kristina Carucci, Director, junior Michael Bonner (center left), Production Manager, junior Tam Nguyen (center right) and First Assistant Director, junior Michael Rivera (right), consult a map while trying to find the location of the set for "The Last Laugh" at Mount Auburn Cemetery in Cambridge, MA. "How many Emerson students, does it take to read a map?" Rivera said jokingly afterwards. "I know we're all film majors, but come-on." The crew made up of all students from Emerson College in Boston, MA, is part of the club "Frames Per Second," which helps to produce two student films a semester.

  • December 4, 2009- While hanging out a second story window, Director of Photography, senior Kristina Carucci, talks with lighting assistant, sophomore James Burg (left), Assistant Lighting Director, junior Masakazu Iwabu, Directing Personal Assistant, junior Adam Bertulli and lighting assistant, junior Max Gosselin-Ildari about the position of lights while setting up a scene on the set of "The Last Laugh" at a home in Dorchester, MA. The crew used long sheets of muslin cloth, attached to the siding of the house, to bounce light into the second story bedroom.  "This is one of the strangest lighting set ups I have ever done," said Carucci. "Even though we were able to rent some great equipment, we still have to figure out ways to stretch it further."   • December 4, 2009- Having worked 13 hours straight, lighting assistants, juniors Max Gosselin-Ildari (left) and Peter Horgan (center), also known as "grips," along with homeowner Francine Smith, catch a few minutes of rest in-between shots on the set of "The Last Laugh" in Dorchester, MA. "As grips we barely get to rest, so if I see an opportunity I make sure to take it," said Horgan.

  • December 6, 2009- After over 45 hours on set, Director, junior Michael Bonner, and Frist Assistant Director, junior Michael Rivera, celebrate the official end of the shoot by bumping fists before breaking down the set of "The Last Laugh" in Dorchester, MA. "As Much as I hated it, Bonner wouldn't settle with what he had," said Rivera. "He challenged me and I admire him so much for that." ..
